Where have you ever seen a musical box like this? This interchangable musical box with matching table has storage capacity for 25 of the 27 cylinders ever produced. 16 Mermod Ideal Sublime Harmony 11-1/2" cylinders are already with the musical box and we are searching for the remaining 11 This beautiful golden oak box and table are in near perfect condition. The musical box has been cleaned and adjusted by a music box technician. One of the 16 cylinders is strangely piano-forte (perhaps a "long pin-short pin" cylinder).
There have been no repairs to the combs which are in excellent condition. The music box comes with a tune indicator and a zither attachment. The top of each leg is heavily and finely carved. This box should be acquired quickly as the "top" piece in any musical box collection or museum.
