This beautiful, heavily inlaid interchangeable Bremond musical box is fantastic, now restored. The matching table with storage space for 6 cylinders is cleverly made with a "cover" that opens to give access to the cylinders. This obviously prevents too much strain on the table if the storage drawer must be extended to its full 6-cylinder length.
The engraved bells are super and the drum has 8 strikers gives a pleasant "tapping" effect. Both the bells and drum can be silenced if desired.
The Bremond musical boxes are known worldwide for their smooth, brilliance. The 6-tunes per cylinder allow very "sophisticated" arrangements. You will notice the very close alignment of the tines (teeth) in the large comb. An original tune card of each cylinder is included.
