A complete carousel was imported to the US and operated for about 40 years in Boston, MA. The second family generation sold the carousel but retained one of the highly decorated horses from 1940 until 1990. We acquired this beautifully decorated horse at auction and have enjoyed it since then.
You will note that this horse is decorated to stand on a carousel that goes clockwise, typical of European carousels.
This piece is priced to sell quickly to the animal collector, at a very low price.
