Ca. 1880, this fine example of the Dienst barrel orchestrion is one of the very few barrel machines that can hold reasonable tuning for over a year. It comes with three, nine-tune barrel, all in excellent condition. It is weight driven with a tune selector on the left side of the case. There are only minor veener chips missing from the otherwise, very clean case. This orchestrion comes with piano, snare drum and triangle. The full top section of the piano is reiterating to give the instrument a full, "Europeon" sound. This instrument was recently adjusted and a broken spring replaced to insure top performance.
