WOW............what a different 35 years have made. His items are NOW spectacular in appearance, performance and reliability. As you know, Cooleys Olde Tyme Piano Shoppe, Inc. normally collects only items that are at least 100 years old or older. But we became fascinated by the mechanical musical pieces Ken was producing in every configuration you can imagine. Ken now produces his own instruments, parts, rolls, as well as arranging nearly 10,000 tunes with "registers" that flavor all of the instruments perfectly.

Our Shoppe is proud to offer "the best of the best" by Ken Caulkins:

a. The cases for the instruments are generally of very high quality and are produced in South America using local woods that are very expensive if imported for furniture shops, etc.

b. The wonderful "orchestra" that we are offering contains:

1. A beautifully restored CABLE player piano with a rank of flute pipes in the base, all automated from a "touch screen" computer with 5,000 built-in tunes.

2. A fully automated 41-note accordion on a vintage Napa Valley wine barrel. (Sorry, the wine is "long gone".)

3. A high-quality Trinidad steel drum for that "island sound". The tune "Brazil" will have you dancing the night away. The drum is also displayed on a vintage wine barrel. Just listen to the 30-second sound bit (attached) to get a small idea of what this orchestra can produce.

4. A major center unit containing a:
      a. Banjo
      b. Guitar
      c. Bass
      d. 15 precussion instruments,
i.e., bass and snare drums, triangle, cymbals, wood block, bells, and many other precussion devices to add "flavor" to every type of music. All instruments are regular, full-sized instruments, straight for the local musical instrument store. The 5000 tune "touch screen computer" in the lower section of the main unit allows automatic playing of all of the instruments as selected from 14 different musical categories.
