Collectors recognize the Bremond musical boxes as among the highest musical quality ever produced. This wonderful ca. 1860s piece has the extremely rare bells and drum "not in view". The drum and bells can be controlled through "on-off" levers to suit the buyer's taste. The large 17-1'2" cylinder performs ten (10) aires in clean, clear Bremond style.
The Bremond has been beautifully restored and the cylinder repinned for flawless performances. The case measures 26-1/2"
X 9-1/2" X 9" with pewter inlays and turquoise enameling throughout. Serial #269
