Have you EVER seen one of the wonderful Lochman Original uprights with eight (8) tubular bells using the 17" disk size? This wonderful instrument was just found in Europe and will be shipped to us very soon. The combs are pristine and the disks are in great condition. The pictures from Europe are not the greatest but you certainly can get a strong "idea" of this instrument.

Private collectors have "collected" every Lochman they can find in the US. Now, the only Lochmans we can find come from the former Soviet Union and Europe. Dealer prices in these countries are very high when you consider shipping costs. Private collections must be approached to find "clean" pieces, such as this, at affordable prices.

Many collectors consider the tubular bells as the most "clean and pure" sounds from any bell box. In 40 years of collecting, I have never seen or heard another Lochman upright in this 17" disk size format.
