Cooley's Olde Tyme Piano Shoppe, Inc proudly presents the most amazing item we have ever offered. We know of only a few such instruments in the world; there are eight tunes of this wonderful-type piece for your review below (click 1-8). The picture enclosed is of an instrument found during a 2008 tour in Europe. An improved version of this instrument will be available from our restorer's Canadian shoppes early 2009.
The 6-7 foot tall manikins will "play" their respective instruments at the flip of a remote switch. The accordionist will have head and eye movement and move his fingers above the buttons of the automatically playing 80-reed 40-er accordion. The seated sousaphone "player" will stand when the music calls for sousaphone music. When the song is finished, the sousaphone player bows politely and sits down.
