This musical box is a marvelous example of the brilliant Kalliope sound. The 25" diameter disks allow "full arrangement" and longer play than smaller disks. The outside 3" of the disks operate the 12 tuned saucer bells. This allows bell solos and tune accompaniment that is different from the arrangement on the remaining 22". This produces a smooth relationship between the bells and the musical combs.

This instrument has been expertly inspected, cleaned and adjusted by a musical tox technician. There are no signs of past repairs or needed future repairs. The instrument is thought to be totally original without missing or replaced parts.
